Acid Reflux In Babies

Acid Reflux In BabiesHow long does it take for acid reflux in babies to go away?

My 2 months old baby has acid reflux. It is Prevacid and Mylanta. I burp him and keep it upright for 30 minutes after each meal. Question for all parents whose babies have had acid reflux: How long did it take for your baby to get rid of their acid reflux?

My son has acid reflux .... He also tracheomalacia (trachea weakened) He was on hypoallergenic formula ... I didn't put him on Zantac or Prevacid or something like that ... dr did suggest putting cereal in the bottle, but I did not do it anymore ..

He is 6 months old now and he is almost done with the acid reflux thing together ... He spits up sometimes, but not like before. We have restarted him more milk powder in place when he started solids (around 5 months) and it has been good since.

I think it's really a baby by baby thing ... Every child just grow out of it by their own means.

Good luck.

He took my daughter until she was a little over a year to get rid of. We tried everything and it was something she had to get out of.

Our girls went to five months, once she started eating solid food it seemed to help.

My daughter has always acid reflux in 8 1 / 2 months. It does not do much better, but once she started solids.
