Where can I find tools to teach my son bilingual German toys? I came to the United States from Germany when I was 11 and fluent in both languages. I am now 36 years old and I want to teach my son German. I would like for him to speak to his family in Germany where he is older. It is two months now, but I'm looking for videos or books? I spoke to him in German, but the visuals help. Her German family speaks English, but it would be nice for him to know his mother tongue: o)
My cousin is also fluent in German and she is teaching her children to speak the language. She uses books Usborne and www.enchantedlearning.com (there is a fee of $ 25 per year, but worth it, printed books and other word games). She also found a German course in his local community who have been enrolled in the past 12 months.
Check the website Usborne Books - This link takes you directly to all the German books they currently have. They are great! http://www.ubah.com/ecommerce/results.as ...
