Study confirms that racism infects the system of juvenile justice in America by William Neikirk
Even as Congress focuses on curbing juvenile delinquency, a study released Tuesday said American juvenile justice system, from arrest to confinement, is unfairly tilted against minority youth.
The statistics cited in a report prepared by the National Council on Crime and Delinquency, a think tank of the criminal justice system, provides new ammunition to demand civil rights groups that racism infects every step of the legal system.
