"Catwoman" Section A The problem with "Catwoman" is not objective, that Halle Berry is that he does not objectify enough. There will always be viewers who think it is humiliating for an actress to wander around lean Catsuits - as if a part of being a "serious" film buff means that we must reject some of the main reasons none of us man or woman, going to the movies in the first place.
But the reality is that most unfortunate "Catwoman," hardly recognizes the beauty of luxury, either Berry or quiet charisma of light - instead of basking in the considerable charm Berry has to offer, the director, Pitof (a name that appears nude as if she had had an exclamation point at the end), treats them as accessories flashy image, cut and senseless abuse of special effects. Even if you believe that the actress put in a slim leather costume change Band-Aid she instantly transforms into a sex object and nothing more, is not it more insulting when a film is likely to make a actress sex objects and fails?
When Berry is not sneak around the city during the night, she is affable Patience Philips, a designer for a big cosmetics company run by George Hedar sweet slimeball (Lambert Wilson). Hedar preparing to launch a new Spider costume . (This is called Beau-Line, an ugly name for an anti-wrinkle, even if the characters inexplicably pronounced "Byoo-Leen.") Patience, a type of artist who favors baggy unfortunate, the shapeless clothing, is in charge of large advertising campaign.
But there's a nasty secret behind Beau-Line, which Hedar collusion, ex-supermodel wife, Laurel (Sharon Stone, who resembles a succession of Slim held drapy, but should be much more entertaining than the film itself can be), trying desperately to hide. When the patient becomes aware of Beau-Line ill side effects, she hastily dispatched and left for dead - only to be resurrected by a special mystic cat: It adds a bunch of his four-legged friends, and they surround the body lifeless, resuscitating it their goddess restorative powers given purr.
Thus the patient becomes the glamorous, conflicting semi-super-hero Catwoman, some powerful woman, half-feline crime fighter who, somehow, when it is not inadvertently commit. Patience becomes Catwoman in the night and the next morning, she does not remember what she did yesterday. While "Catwoman" fable tries desperately to be empowerment of women. Patience learns that she is part of a long line of Catwomen in Catsuits , one of the lucky few who live their life unconstrained by the rules of society, following their own desires. (In most settings, go out at night and wake up the next morning with no idea of what you would be considered the exact opposite of empowerment, but never mind.)
