Chiropractic Education? I am interested in becoming a chiropractor and I have heard good and bad things about the chiropractic school. If you are a chiropractor and went to chiropractic college, please tell me your experiences and what you went to school. Thank you.
I am a chiropractor and I graduated at the top of my class of MN. I do not really know where to start, so I'll try to answer. You must first attend a school that is respected. Avoid mill schools like Sherman, and life. They are jokes in the industry. There are good schools like MN, or the western states in GOLD, or Palmer. I worked my butt off, because of the amount of information and the length of time the school day. School in general has started to say between 8am and I often had classes and laboratories up 5-7 in the evening. In order to absorb all the information you then need to study every day. I would go to the library and study until 10 or 11 hours. The reason you want to do the will is that you will be required to pass all four parts of the band. They are not easy, and you need to know your stuff. The last part, Part 4, is both a written and practical examination. I paid 850.00 to this and it should now be 1500 at least. Some students who could not make it would be divided into two one quarter, should be twice as long to go through the program if they have done to all. I paid 5500.00 per quarter for 10 quarters ago. I know it now costs 175,000 to go through the program today. So you want to put your nose to the grindstone and do it directly through, because it is the least expensive.
Good luck
