Someone else to spend Advent Dr. Browns bottles? Were you satisfied with the outcome? Advent I use with my 3 weeks old, but I think it becomes much air from them. I think to buy a bottle of Dr. Browns to try and see if they work better. Someone else to go Avent Dr Browns? Were you satisfied with the outcome?
I use the Dr. Browns and love them! My son is not too much air. Although I make a point to make him burp after every ounce. My sister uses Advent with his daughter and they have not had any problems with Gass. I wish I could help with the switch. The only thing I can say is just to buy the bottles and try them. You may find that problems that the baby may not like the switch with the nipple. They get used to things so it is difficult to change something like that.
I had all kinds of bottles before the baby is born and several, including AVENT, should help gas, but did not atall. bottles using Dr. Brown, we saw a difference immediately. Our son has problems with gas, but it is much better with these bottles. I highly recommend them.
I tried both but then installed on Playtex Drop Ins. The reason why my son hated both because he hated the silicone nipples Playtex and generally has both silicone and latex. The drop ins are great because you tighten the bags out all the air and is also much easier to clean than the Dr. Brown!
My son used Playtex bottles of air venting, I've never tried anything else. They work hard
My son had reflux and Dr Browns bottles have been a miracle! He stopped coughing as much, and rarely even burp. there was simply no gas bubbles to get rid of.
They are a pain to clean, but if you have a dishwasher, you can throw all the parts in a basket dishwasher and laundry Skip all.
I love Dr. Browns! My baby has reflux horribly we've tried Zantac, bethanocol, and many formulas before we found the bottle made the biggest difference.
I did not use Advent, but I use Dr. Browns first and loved them. They were great! My daughter does not spit out a lot with this bottle.
I used the drop ins and Platex Advent. My daughter had horrible gas would have the painful episodes of crying. They even changed the formula it thought it was ... mylicon made no difference. One day when she was about four weeks, I bought a bottle of Dr. Brown @ Wal-Mart just to try. I used it last night and noticed an immediate difference. Yes, it is still a bit soft, but BIG TIME improvement. I now have, like, 15 of these bottles. She smiled after the meal now instead of crying. If you read the reviews on epinions.com people like them, but I hate the fact that there are all the parties. Please. It's like, two additional pieces and throw them in the dishwasher basket. Even wash their hands between them is not a big problem if it contributes to the resolution of the pain of the abdomen, as was done for my daugher. Buy one and see if you like it!
