Dr. Mark Stengler How to Deal with Arthritis When your usual doctor

Arthritis is a generic term used to cover many types of pain and illness. It is a term many doctors use when they do not know what is wrong and they do not really want to check.

For example, several years ago, my doctor told me I had arthritis in his back and there was nothing that could be done about it. He gave me a prescription for pain pills and said I had to make the best of the situation. He never made an X-ray or run other tests.

Several months later, I could barely get out of bed. I was 58 years old and felt at least 90. When I tried to get out of a chair I fell into the campfire and blistering my arm.

When the doctor saw my arm and I told him he did not even hurt when I fell into the fire, he has a worried look on his face and said: "Maybe we should see what happening there. "

Duh! I had so much pain pills in me, I felt nothing, except the excruciating pain in my back.

He planned for a proposed MRI and for what? It was not arthritis, after all. It was a tumor in my spine and I was very close to becoming paralyzed.

Years ago my favorite uncle went to his doctor for back pain. His doctor said it was arthritis and there is nothing we can do about it. Just take some pain pills and live with it. Finally, it was so bad that my aunt took him to the emergency room. A new doctor looked at him and said: "My God. You have cancer . If you came here six months ago we could help you. There is nothing we can do now. You'll die. "It does.

These things happened to me and the people in my family. They should not take place. I hope you will forgive me if I lost all confidence in doctors.

Yes, I know they are human, just like us. I know they will get lazy, just like us. They get tired and bored and overworked as we are. But if they will be doctors and take our lives and those of our loved ones in their hands, they should not be kept at a level slightly above the Guy working on the assembly line at the local manufacturing company?

The message I try to go out with this article is that we must all take responsibility for our health. The doctors will not do. When you leave their office, their attention is focused on the next patient to walk in.

When the doctor tells you that you have arthritis and there is nothing that can be done about it, do not think so.

You may very well have arthritis. Most people over fifty do. If you have any doubts or concerns insist that the doctor run some tests. Stomp, cry, cry, whatever you have to do, but you are testing. You have the right.

Do your homework. Find out what causes arthritis. Finding ways to relieve pain and reduce the damage of cartilage in the joints. Did you know that some drugs against pain sometimes prescribed for arthritis can cause more damage to the articular cartilage and relieve pain.

Dr. Mark Stengler, ND says in his book, The Doctor of natural healing therapies, "... there is evidence that NSAIDs and aspirin is destroyed by removing the cartilage cells and enzymes that should help build it. "

There are nearly 100 types of arthritis and nobody knows exactly what he does. Research suggests poor digestion, toxins and nutritional deficiencies can be part of the problem.

I found that herbs and nutritional supplements help relieve pain and stiffness that goes with
