Edinburgh Playhouse

Radio Forth is a group that owns two radio stations, Radio One and Radio 2, based in Edinburgh. Radio stations in Edinburgh, Lothian and Fife.

Forth Radio provides news and information local to Edinburgh. Radio Forth goal is to generate and disseminate local stories that are of interest in Edinburgh, Lothian and Fife, and a mixture of national and international news.

Radio Forth was owned by Scottish Radio Holdings until June 3, 2005, when the British group EMAP media take over. Forth, however, continues to be primarily local and managed from Forth House in Edinburgh. Owners put their company EMAP radio for sale in December 2007. At the end of January 2008, all radio stations owned by EMAP in the United Kingdom have been purchased by the Group, Germany-based Bauer, with EMAP to Bauer Radio Radio.

Radio Forth on the Fringe is another new event staged by Radio Forth. Taking place at Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre, Saturday, August 7, 2010. The event featured some of the best in Music, Humor and entertainment, bringing a slice of all aspects of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In light of the 2009 sale, the event is already scheduled to take place again in 2010.
