Fancy Dress Shops

Ok, ok I know that shops do not have the best Fancy Dress reputation. Ask a selected audience members and you tend to get the same answers. Most respondents say that disguises stores tend to be small, dark, poorly organized and especially smelly. What can we do to change this view?

One of the most common phrases I hear every day is when a new client comes into my shop is "Oh, there's no smell here," or "I can feel clean to wash. To be honest, this is how each store must be dressed. First impressions are vitally important to win the confidence of a person. Why would a customer want to stay in the store, nevermind actually trying costumes. Would you put dirty clothes and smelly on? I think not!

In Frocks n Props we even wash the costumes that the client has tried and left the lipstick or a bad odor on the dress. We will not allow any suit with a bad body odor or smell smoke to stay in the shop after returning from a party for fear of the odor store. Are we paranoid about this? Well, yes we are, but our shop smell bad? A resounding NO!
