What is Fetal Doppler? What fetal heart monitoring?
Monitoring the fetal heart is the way the doctor or you can use to monitor the health of the fetus while listening to the fetal heart rate (FCR), and keep track of it (the fetal heart rate of the child or the fetus) during pregnancy and childbirth. Two main methods of monitoring fetal heart can tell you if the fetus in the uterus is doing well or could have problems.
What are the different types of methods for monitoring fetal heart or devices?
Fetal heart monitoring can be classified as internal and external methods.
The external control of the fetus can be performed by a stethoscope and Doppler fetal heart. A Doppler fetal heart continuously through measures FHR ultrasonic waves and thus helps people to determine the status of the fetus. Fetal Doppler gives a clearer picture of fetal heart rate as the stethoscope and can detect and take the fetal heart rate after 8 weeks of gestation with 2MHz and 3MHz probes. The fetal Doppler with 2MHz probe works best for overweight women or women in the third trimester of pregnancy. The reflection of a 3MHz probe is better than the low frequency of 2 MHz, except as provided above.
When we follow the fetal heartbeat with a Doppler fetal heart rate using normal fetal heart should be between 120-180 BPM (Beats Per Minute). If the heartbeat is not within range, then the fetus may be in an abnormal state, such as compression of the spinal cord, fetal hypoxia, fetal distress and fetal heart block etc. If you follow yourself the fetal heart rate and abnormal heart beats Opinion, Please see the professionals you ASAP.
Fetal heart Doppler method works well as an external control. Scientific research shows that fetal Doppler ultrasound does not harm the mother and fetus if used for no more than 10 minutes per session.
There is another method called fetal monitoring internal control. This can be done only after the water is broken. In this method, an electrode is attached to the scalp of the baby during delivery so that the fetal heartbeat can be heard and printed on a card. It is a completely different method with different principles.
Despite that internal control is more precise than the external method, its use is limited to hospital and health professionals because of its difficulty and the complications it may entail.
How many types of fetal doppler are they?
There are two different types of hand fetal Doppler, analogue and digital. Fetal Doppler analog outputs the audible sound of the fetal heart beat without a digital display. A digital Doppler has a small LCD screen that gives FHR during the test. The digital Doppler provides a range of between 50-210 bpm.
