Would standing outside in the cold in minimal clothes make me sick enough to have a fever? it's not like I'm ... my friend asked me and I do not want answers like "thats stupid" or "your friend is stupid", etc., please. let me know.
The answer is no if you were to stick to the parameters of your question.Illness is caused by bacteria, viruses, etc. not the environmental conditions, all things being equal.
God bless you.
It is up to chance. The main reason you tend to get sick when you're cold is that when your body is cold, the immune system does not work as well if there is a greater opportunity for bacteria to invade your body. If there is not much influenza virus / bacteria when you're standing outside, then you probably will not get sick, on the other hand, if you have ten piracy, people throng fever around you, then you'll probably be sick.
It can. But it really depends on the person. The cold lowers your immune system for some time, so if you catch something you might get sick. But if the person has a good immune system, they will not get sick. I got soaked before death in December (it was snowing) and I have not been sick.
