Games for children with autism? Does anyone know any good games for autistic children / adolescents
Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
I think it depends on what you are looking for educational purposes to achieve with the games, or if you just try to provide a fun activity. As I'm sure you know, each person with autism is very different and has different needs and interests. Thus, keeping in mind, and not knowing what your goal is, I'm not sure that games offer.
However, many (though certainly not all) of the children I worked with puzzles have known in their various forms and computer games. I think it is very important to keep the views and interests of the autistic person in mind when choosing activities.

Memory Cards
music games like passing a ball back to music or playing sticks and cymbals with another person could be used to promote such interaction. Eye contact may be encouraged by an imitator games hitting near the eyes or activities that focus attention on an instrument played near the face. favorite music can be optionally used for a wide variety of behavior of social cooperation, like sitting on a chair or staying with a group of other children in a circle.
