Games For Preschool Children

Games For Preschool ChildrenDo you use HOME-MADE educational games with your preschoolers?

I made more than 1,000 educational games, while homeschooling my three children. However, I started when they were awarded preschoolers. I'm trying to make games for my son and grandchildren would love ideas that others have done.

I'm sure you already have everything I can think of, but here's a test:
Alphabet, numbers, Colors w / pictures of different objects (play goes fishing or memory)
Candyland w type / numbers, colors, the alphabet (except file folders)

Here are some sites with games file folder, I love them because they are cheap and easy to do!

Good luck!

Yes, I made many, many games for my children. Simple things such as Word to Go Fish, Bingo, etc., to more complex things like board game.
I made file folder games for visual discrimination and trinkets in cans of film for the auditory discrimination.
I made my own eyes I call / players emerging - some with clipart, others with pictures of my kids (they like best.) I did math games for almost every holiday and theme monthly based on a book entitled "More than count" that I found very interesting.
I went even further and make PowerPoint presentations and turned them into movies that I burned onto a DVD for playback on the TV. They are so much fun ... but much much much work. I made one called "Color Kids" who went through all the colors, showed a picture of my child in that suit, had little animations in this color, and print on the bottom that says: "Bethany pink "(or whatever color it was in.) I recorded my voice for the presentation, it was fun, and she is 4 now and still love watching it. I also a short story about her and her brother building his first snowman ... and another one on nursery rhymes (which I never finished.)
I think my party knew about preschool / homeschooling is not just to be in charge of what my child learns ... but eventually create a program that suits them! Fortunately, God has seen fit to give me the gift of creativity! Oh what fun!

I do not know how you could create a game to make this form, but when I had children and auto trips, I want to comment on something and they would have to decide weather it is true or "Bologna Daddy":)
When we arrived home, they would have to find the answer. It could be the number of shoes in a closet, or the results of a game, or the number of a given letter in a street sign. They really liked it and later became both good scientists.

A couple of things that are really easy .. Take the big stick popsickle tongue depressor / a stick and stick it on a sheet of cardboard paper to make a bat. "Then hang a balloon with a string of doorjam or ceiling. There should be at or near shoulder. My son thought it was the best house toys. He could practice batting a ball in the house.

The other thing you can do is cut a cereal box in different shapes and the child put them together.

Again, these are really simple and inexpensive, but children do not bother me.

find something to bead on chain .. can be fun, can be used to help count models (different colors)

Concentration or memory games type with pairs of photographs of family members.
