Hospital Bag

Hospital BagHospital bag?

I go to Monday, July 2 to be induced and I was Tring to get my bag packed hospital that all you need? and is there something that you didn't you would need, but not this? Any advice will be helpful thank you all very much.

This is what I got:

pillow
robe
slippers
hairbrush
shampoo and conditioner
Toothbrush / toothpasteextra set of clothes
Bra and Panties Nursing
clothing for babies
camera
makeup

I did not, but would have liked:
paperback. It was cold in the hospital and I had 20 on thin blankets.

Good luck and congratulations!

All I made was cosmetic, shampoo and conditioner, and a few pairs of PJ and nightgown. We also took a few DVDs to watch and some clothes for the baby. But we ended up in hospital clothes for him all the time. They provide blankets, clothing, diapers, formula and everything else you need.
Good luck ... I also had to be induced. Ended up having a caesarean afternoon if

Clothing for you
Babywear
If you plan to use your own sucks take it with you
Camera
Toiletries
everything you want to take

snacks Daddy ... we do not even think about! He ended up having to leave me off at the cafeteria, none of us were happy about it, but he was hungry. Pack a small cooler w / sandwhiches, nuts, fruit, even the remnants (the nurses can reheat in microwave their coffee break, if one is not available).

I'm sure you thought of this too:
slippers / socks
robe
breastfeeding product (most nurses are not well educated on this point, it is not really a big part of their training in most places)

Do not forget to take a pillow for you. Hospital pillows suck. Be sure you have a pillowcase full of different color on that because you do not want it to be white and mingle with the hospitals!

Congratulations!

remember slippers, Nursing Bra, PJ's, holding a baby at home and in something baggy and comfortable to carry you home

a nightgown or 2, slippers, dress, make up, hair ties if your hair is long, toothbrush, shampoo, etc.. I just read that you might want to pack snacks, esp grapes, healthy things. I also packed a mother bear to use it as my subject focus for the work. Good luck!

Everyone else has any more towels (the kind of maternity). Much love for your baby! Congratulations

I see you have had responses from Nice.
so let me tell you what you do not need ...
I kept reading in magazines and online about what to take, and I realized half of the orders was a waste of space.
- You do not need pads. The hospital will provide unlimited (I belive: you need an unlimited quantity)
make one or two just in case.
- There are lots of pillows to the hospital ... So do not bother bringing your own. Do not put the Boppy pillow if breastfeeding.
- You'll never have time to read books or magazines. IF you have time to relax, you'll want to sleep.
- Snakes.

It is important (it was for me)
- Bring shampoo ... they give you a small bottle of shampoo not very good. And after a few days of not washing your hair that you want to use as much as you want.
- Dress in comfortable sleep. Not so for air (when visitors have) but mainly because you get sick of wearing the hospital provided.
- Hair bands Extra
- A record. You will receive a lot of paper work ... Then when you get home you do not want to start asking: "Where do we put this ..." The second day of my stay, my husband returned home only to get a record. We did not want lose anything.
- A cute outfit for baby returned to the house. During the hospital stay he / she does not need. Some provide services in such hospitals.
