father of my daughter convinced me to get it before its birth (well, I got a good deal on e-bay). Now I feel like it was just a way to get kids hooked on TV at a young age and my baby already looks like on TV a lot when we were on (it will be 13 weeks tomorrow).

I'm kind of torn ... In fact, I want one for my little girl as she can be very stimulating for her. I do not want her to be addicted to television than his older brothers but when I talk about TV, I'm more or less talk about shit they watch. It is learning and I think she needs to learn so that any learning or educational-type film or a toy that I feel is good. Where did you buy yours?

I agree, too much like television is not recommended for children until after age 2. Too much passive behavior. When we watch TV our brain tends to the area - not something you want a baby grows and develops with experience in my humble opinion.
