Question for those familiar with lumineers? Tomorrow I go to a dentist office to put Lumineers. My teeth are crooked and the doctor told me he had to make my finer teeth before making them again, and after that put lumineers.
Has anyone had their teeth ground off before lumineers? Does it hurt? Also, did damage the teeth?
Please specify. Enjoy all the answers.
Your tissue will be sore after work, but all you have done, you'll receive anesthesia to numb the area so you do not feel it does.
The procedure requires that they reduce the amount of tooth structure certian clearance for lumineers. It will not damage the teeth, but your tooth structure is removed. I've seen this a hundred times or more do. There is so much trouble, you for example a nice smile. You will love the results. Best wishes to you. Hope that helped
As for the pain, they give you Novocaine.
Well, once you get your teeth ground down, you can not go back.
They will put a temp on the first, and then you return to the CAP final few days.
So, yes, they are detrimental to the tooth by removing a portion of it to make room for the veneer.
I have not had this personally ............. Yet
but I've seen it. There should be no pain involved. The process is similar to having a crown. Your teeth will be reduced on the front and take an impression. You veneers will be back in a few weeks and stuck on.
It's like instant ortho and money!
You'll love it! I hope to do mine in the near future.
