A group of kids got together and started a dog walking business. They have had many customers at once, so that when they all walked their dogs together, there were twelve heads and legs forty. How many children and how many dogs have been out walking??

Jacka e Jill practiced batting. Jack's first time at bat, he hit 75 of one hundred pitches thrown by Jack. Jill touched the 75 hundred sites launched by Jack. After a short break, Jack took a second turn at bat. Jill threw 50 pitches, and he hit 35 of them. Jill was tired, so she did not take a second turn at bat. Who has the best average for the day-Jack or Jill?
