Classroom Games Fun - for math? I am a student of secondary school pre-algebra. We played the head and numbered bingo and children as games. Do you know of other games I can play with them to discuss problems in math? I do not have a computer projector so I can not play games PowerPoint. Also do you have other tips for the beginning teachers of mathematics?
This is my favorite site for just about any game.
We use a variety of mathematical games.

Pre-algebra in high school? I was in first year high school geometry ... try putting a problem on the board to divide the class into groups and those who first solves extra credit .. it becomes especially fun when you have boys against girls .. but some shouting and then begins to go on .. I am a sophomore in high school. I know what's fun. my teacher gives us also the group quiz where u have like a group of 4 or less and they're trying to make problems, then its pleasure, because they can learn from each other and stimulate your classes is social and its fun for you. ANOTHER thing my teacher does is it takes 5 points to the person who turned in the quiz / test first, I guarantee it will boost their grades because they will look on again and again and again because nobody will lose 5 points:) sooo have fun and when kids are generally not whispering its you ... EDUCATION happy ...
I play "Who wants to be a millionaire?"
My kids love it! I do it is a great review game. Every time we play and I tell them that you hear "yes" in the room.
I have a spreadsheet that I fill with questions from $ 100 to $ 1,000,000. Students work on the sheet for 15-20 minutes. When they are mostly done, I ask those who want to use a lifeline. I write the life lines on the map to the class.
We 50:50 - give them a choice of 2, usually I'm not helping because I take the 2, they already think he is.
Ask the class - the Class I survey responses and note how many students each selection.
Ask a friend - they have someone in the class.
When they are done, we trade documents and everyone rises. They have the rank of each paper. They must proceed unless the person receives the correct answer. I want to emphasize the importance of marking the WHO.
