I want to start a new regime. Is there a diet that there? I am 14 and I want to lose 10-20 pounds this summer. I am not overweight, but just want to be very healthy and toned. Are there any good tips and ideas for meals and snacks out there that could help me? I also need some exercises, Thanks!
All diets work the same way. If they restrict calories to a point where you burn more than you eat, you lose weight. If the plan does that it will work, otherwise you will fail. Whether or not a healthy diet is separate from whether or not it will work. If you severely restrict calories to less than 1200 per day, you will lose weight, but does this road is very bad so be careful when reading these schemes. Also beware of diets that limit you to one food. Even if you take a good amount of calories, you will not be able to get all the vitamins, nutrients, lipids, carbohydrates or proteins of a single type of food.
