The Mexican peasant blouse and dress makes a come Back! Long live the 60s and 70s and clothing free and easy ...
Day of the Dead. Carnivale. Cinco de Mayo. All these elements are normal day to don your birthday Mexican embroidered peasant blouses and dresses. But what about just everyday? These work for everyday life, outside, just relax and days. Mexican embroidered peasant blouses and cotton dresses are all ... some cotton cloth, some are more heavy woven cotton, but cotton and all are meticulously hand-embroidered with flowers, birds, flower baskets, etc. Each model is unique and anyone who makes them. I could never do something like this ... never could embroider. But the ladies sit in their circles in the town of Puebla, Oaxaca and visit while they sew.
I also love the dresses for girls. Some are hand embroidered lady bugs, butterflies or birds and almost all women or girls, knitted or crocheted edges. There's nothing like a hand made clothing to make you feel festive. I like them because they are the best thing yet for the summer. Pull it over your head and your good to go. The colors are almost as diverse as sewing (and there is no sewing machine on these) ... bright pink, turquoise, green, orange, yellow, white, black ..... the list is long.
Simple, easy to wash ... I return them, place them in a lingerie bag and just throw them in the washer. The cotton cloth and go straight into the dryer after. The more cotton, shake them dry and then you go online .... section the most comfortable clothing you'll ever own.
