I still want to buy one of these reusable blocks! I never money, lol. I will certainly use it, good effort. But just imagine, for a woman and her period:
7 days per month x 2 blocks per day = 14pads/month
14x12 = 168 blocks / year
Say it is atleast 45% of the world population are women (40% x 6.1 billion) = approximately 2 billion women in the world
Thus, 168 blocks x 2 billion = 300 billion carpet waste / year!
EWWWW!
So I think it's time for me to get some of these:]

If you are interested in more environmentally friendly feminine products, you may want to look for in a Diva cup. They are reusable, as the toppings you posted, but require less effort or mess to clean, and do not need to be changed as often.

Bravo to you to find ways to reduce your impact on the environment.

I think it is great. It reduces all waste used with tampons, and is probably cheaper in the end. It would be a little weird at first and take a little getting used to.

no, I do not think so. I feel dirty and smelly all the time.
I am not opposed to a green solution, but it would not make me feel self conscious.
