Are there any resorts in South Africa, apart from Tiffendale in Eastern Cape? My father and his buddies in the Mountain Club of SA, has launched the Ski Club of South Africa. They used to ski on the Matroosberg. The steepest slope is visible from Worcester, where it snowed. Access is on the side of Ceres, near the cherry farm Klondyke. I would not classify it as a station in class Tiffendale, because there is a steep increase of four hours to get there. But, yes, skiing has a history in South Africa: There are other places where skiing is very popular:

I think I remember a ski resort, the oldest in South Africa in the mountains one hour of "Golden Spa near Paarl. Not a fan of skiing myself, but try to do a search ..... What in the Drakensberg?
