Does anyone know how to make a costume Tin Man with real metal? Does anyone know how to make authentic-looking costume Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz using real metal? Or is there anyone who has one for sale or are willing to make?
~ Why with real metal would not be very heavy? My only thought is that you can make the body part of one of our metal cans can with the bottom cut. . .

Yes - aluminum flashing works well - but I guarantee you will not wear more than five minutes before the panic and tears. It is very hot, very heavy. It must be heavily padded to protect you from sharp edges and the summer sun can heat the metal to a frying temperature real quick. So, knowing that too many parents are idiots and try to fill the little boys in suits such - No, I will not make one for you. This is my contribution to the fight against child abuse.
real metal would hurt.
