What toddler toys travel good? I'm on a plane with my 18 months. old dd. and she will sit on my lap in the flights. They are not too long, about 1 1 / 2 hours each (of course, if she cries all the time, it might feel like an eternity). I am a little nervous about it is not able to have much room to run. Any suggestions on good portable toys or activities that keep him occupied?
I also have a 18 months old and we travel frequently.
We bring reusable stickers, Playmobil 1.2.3. figures (for imaginitive play), books and snacks (preferably small items such as dried apples that take some time to eat).
I have other stuff in that section to keep your child busy on a map:

Yes I was there!
Magnadoodle (short variety);
Gummy Bears;
Lacing cards;
Food
Cut the sponges for small blocks (good for spills, too!)
Favorite Critter / doll and blanket.
Things to avoid: hard objects that can be lifted
Good flights!
Take lots of small toys, books, etc., all wrapped in wrapping paper, and let him unwrap a regular basis. Maybe something, small books, cars, finger puppets. I did this for my son when he was about the same age, on a journey of four hours by bus and it was great, did not matter what the content was really he was quite happy to unwrap things and cos he did not have all the toys at once, he did not get bored. Sorry for the lack of suggestions I have made for a boy and we mostly had different cars lol! Many are also good snacks, raisins, cereal bars, etc. However, I did it all again for my son when he was 2 on an airplane, and he slept all the way to go and return, so you do not know your luck!
