babies weaning? I'm trying to wean my 9 months of breastfeeding. When the time came to what is the best way to help dry my milk production, or if I had to stop cold turkey how do I get some relief or is it something I can not take.
If you wean gradually, you should not have congestion problems. Have you thought about a cut supply at a time? Then your body will have time to adjust the production of milk. You can even decide that it's good to keep one or two meals a day. I always loved this calendar.
Good often Drys caffeine you up real fast. Once you stop breastfeeding, it takes about one week to dry or to cease to be congested. I went back to work and dries very quickly. I wish you the best and good luck ...
I do not know how much help, but I'm here, I will ...... I slowed the time of breastfeeding for the night and once it has started to bite I just quit ..... he seemed fine with it ....... Just leave your breasts alone and the pressure stops soon enough,,,, if you pump it will not help b / cu still producing milk ..... ask your doctor if there is something you can take to help you dry ... I started taking the pill (birth control) and it made me produce less milk.
To wean your child, just leave him to feed in less ... and supplement with a bottle. time to start .... Three quarters of breast ... Fourth time .... on the bottle and over a period of days ... increase of the bottle, and reduce the chest. Your milk should dry naturally ....... Otherwise, call your doctor, it can give you a shot.
I have never breastfed, but they told me to go buy a bra that was a size small or wear a sports bra. I emptied in a week or two. I do not know if this will help, but it made me feel more at ease.
