What is the difference between the Weibull, negative Weibull and reverse Weibull probability distributions? I see several references to reverse Weibull, but do not see an equation displayed everywhere for what it is. In addition, the equations that I have for a Weibull distribution are not the same as the equations that I have for a negative Weibull (a variation on the extreme value distribution GEV generalized?). Any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry for the issue of mad!
"The Weibull distribution used by reverse SHJF [1] is the model that corresponds to the FT3 GEV with negative values of the shape parameter." [1]
"SC <0 [gives a distribution] Weibull negative [2]
In the Wikipedia article below, the shape parameter is denoted "k" and the lambda corresponds to SC [2].
